Introducing the New Ram 1500

The new Ram 1500 offers improved and unique features and trims not available in previous years. The Emergency Medical Service limited-edition trim is new. The Ram 1500 EMS, which is available in Hydro Blue or Bright White paint, has a blacked-out front fascia and grille, black exhaust tips, and Technical Gray 20-inch aluminum wheels. The EMS version has unique front seat decor. It offers the 4x4 Off-Road Group equipment package, adding underbody skid plates, tow hooks, and an electronic-locking rear differential. The new Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition, which is already available for this model year, has a tailgate-ajar warning light, a multifunction locking tailgate, and adjustable cargo tie-down hooks. If you want to boost truck bed versatility, this truck includes a movable bed step and cargo partition. The Ram 1500 is a vehicle that you can rely on to tow. With its finest trim level, this truck has a hauling capability of up to 12,750 pounds. The engine in this level is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with eTorque. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque, the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, and the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine represent the additional engine options for the pickup. Even the base Ram 1500 can pull an astonishing 7,700 pounds.

What grants this Ram model such incredible strength? It's the rigorous mechanics that underpin the entire outfit. When nearing 30 mph, the Ram 1500 retains an active frontal air dam that stretches 2.5 inches downward to minimize drag. An optional air suspension system automatically lowers the vehicle to improve speed and power. This feature improves fuel economy.

Exterior and Interior

The iconic Ram 1500 is popular for being "purpose-built bolt by bolt." Simply looking at the higher hood structure demonstrates this aspect. It exemplifies Ram's contemporary approach to a light-duty pickup truck. The new truck is available in pearl colors, like the eye-catching Delmonico Red and lively Patriot Blue.

The inside of the Ram 1500 is quite efficient, with cubby stowage and enough passenger room. Higher trims add premium materials and comfort amenities, transforming the Ram into a luxury model rather than a pickup truck. Most variants include upmarket options like heated and ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof, while the most expensive models include genuine wood accents and superior leather surfaces. The sporty Ram 1500 boasts a spacious interior and a distinctive split-folding tailgate. Find 5'7" and 6'4" cargo beds, although only the latter is compatible with the extended cab body design.

Technology

Even though this truck excels in hauling, daily excursions, and off-roading, Ram does not skimp on dashboard equipment. A 12-inch digital cluster screen is available in the cockpit. Drivers may use it for navigation and monitoring vehicle control. The huge touchscreen includes a smartphone connection, satellite radio, and other current entertainment standards. Ram developed a "Head-Up Display" dashboard to improve the driver experience. This screen displays incoming calls and navigation in a non-distracting digital perspective. Many driving choices benefit from the availability of a Digital Rearview Mirror. When the LCD monitor is active, this mirror displays a live video feed from a rear-facing camera.

Safety Features

When the worst occurs, the Ram 1500 is ready. This new Ram model has the biggest braking rotors for a light-duty pickup truck, measuring 14.9 inches in diameter. Automatic emergency braking is standard on all trim levels except the Tradesman and Bighorn. Depending on the trim level, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic warning, blind-spot monitoring, and trailer sway control are available.
